In addition to entrees, a unique selection of small plates will invite diners to mix-and match in a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. New menu items will include an appetizer of Goat Cheese Creme Brulee, Nut and Seed-crusted Grouper with a Preserved Lemon Sauce, Beef Medallion Diane, and, for dessert, Chocolate Mousse Cake, and Lime Sunshine Tart all at a family friendly price. Some favorites from their previous menu have landed on the Bistro menu, too. The restaurant will have a cozy bar just inside the main entrance and a few tables outside for outdoor dining on balmy days. Food will be available at the bar. They will also offer a kids menu and a Sunday brunch!
Brooks and Wendy met 37 years ago while attending the Culinary Institute of America. After graduation, they trained in several top restaurants in New York City and Europe. A six-month tour of Southeast Asia added depth to their cooking repertoire. Back in US, Brooks taught at the French Culinary Institute before purchasing a small restaurant in Ridgewood, NJ called Park 111. After a successful run, they got an offer to sell and opened Rosemary and Sage. It’s time to open a new chapter with Brookside Bistro. Join us!
